Tips to remove Stains

Grease - Any grease-fighting dishwashing soap works as long as it doesn't contain bleach. Use your fingers or a gentle toothbrush to work the dishwashing detergent into the stained fabric. Allow the soapy stain to sit for a few minutes without letting it dry. Rinse the stain under running water to check that the stain is gone.

Other food/wine stains

Make a "vinegar stain pre-treatment solution" of 1/3 white vinegar, 1/3 water and 1/3 liquid dish detergent or heavy duty liquid laundry detergent. 

Squeeze the vinegar solution onto the stain and rub into the stain with your fingers. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse the vinegar solution from the polyester table cloth with lukewarm water.
